Palaschko, Johannes: 18 Studies, Op. 51.

Each study presents opportunities for technical growth and refinement while presenting engaging miniatures to develop musical expression, since each has distinct musical character and colors. Originally composed for violin in 1st position, this edition also uses 2nd to 4th position. These pieces are an excellent introduction to music from the Romantic era, and many are interesting for recital programs.
