Palaschko, Johannes: 12 Studies, Op. 55

These 12 studies assume fluency in the first 5 positions. They are full of complexities in rhythm, melody and harmony, which is typical of works from the Romantic Era. Each one has a distinct character, and these works are helpful for developing expressive ability. The first four are significantly easier than the rest, and the last is a cadenza study--two pages with no bar lines.

This edition has new fingerings and bowings. In the back of the volume are notes about changes and some performance suggestions.
